A way of life

Vacation... relax or serve others??

Jay and Sandra Dresser have demonstrated the meaning of giving as they return year after year to give Woodworkingof their time and talents in the form of service to others.

As most of us pack up to head to Florida for a relaxing vacation. Sandra and Jay plan their vacations to head to the Christian Appalachian Project and work. Each year they pack up their camper, spend their own money and hours on the road only to get to their destination, greet old friends and start their time of serving.

Each year WorkFest, an alternative Spring Break for college students, Jay straps on his tool belt as he leads a group of students for 3 weeks of building and repairing homes. You can always find Sandra with a big smile as she mixes ingredients, cooks, bakes and cleans. Their mornings start as early at 5:00 A.M. and doesn't end until well after 8:00 P.M.
